Just purchased the Rocky Mountain Elk Hunter and I couldn’t be happier. The ergonomics of the handle make it very comfortable and the size of the blade make it a great option for belt carry or tossed in a backpack. I’ve not had a chance to put it through the paces, but I did use it to slice and baton small pieces of seasoned wood. While doing this, I had no hotspots and, as expected, there were no issues with the performance of the knife. The knife cleaned up very well and I applied some Lost Dirt wax. This is my 3rd knife from Julious and his craftsmanship and customer service can’t be beat.
